Happy 1/2 birthday!! I love our journey has taken us to Cade’s Cove, my living room, a pumpkin patch and now your bath tub ;)!! I love seeing how much you are growing…every time I turn around it’s time to book your session…and it is always a blast (or this time splash!) I love and am honored to be invited into my client’s home. N’s nursery was woodland themed and I absolutely loved seeing all the details your sweet mama spent on making it perfect for you! It was a usually warm day for January. So outside we went for some sweet photos! Sweet N’s mama has a heart for a similar design style for decor…and this antique wash tub (swoon!). This tub has been passed down generation after generation and each child has been bathed in it. A tradition. A gift. I absolutely love it! See you in 3 months N…keep growing strong, brave and kind!
What better way to spend the day after Christmas than with this sweet family! I enjoyed our time outside in the crazy warm weather (60’s in December in Tennessee)! It was the perfect day. I love overcast! I loved everything about this session…family…sisters…brothers…cousins…grandparents…seasoned love…young love…mother’s love…mother and father loving their adult daughters, father-son bonding, & of course little boys loving their mamas…you can tell this family loves deeply. And look for the “Argh” pirate, Lighting Bolt “Bolting” & shark, that made it for sure fun from the boys!
This family…oh the feels…from the long curls on sweet R (makes me think of my own sweet long hair boy)…to the baby growing in mama’s belly…to the snuggles and kisses…giggles and chasing…What a beautiful family! Merry Christmas friends! Congrats on baby #2! I do so hope I get the honor of meeting soon!
Little A is growing so fast!! And he is certainly surrounded by so much love. I love multi-generational family sessions! Parents love their babies intensely, but grandparents are proud. They love so differently. I love watching C’s personality come out more and more since I met him at 6 months old. His 3 year old personality makes me giggle. (Checkout: his smile his daddy taught him). Love this family!
What a treat! I spent the morning with this incredible family on their 15 acres, with their sweet boys (6months & 1.5 year old), their beautiful horse Bugsy and dog, Eleanor who loved the leaves! It was a morning of sweet smiles and giggles! I love watching how each time I am with a family again, I get to see how much their sweet kiddos have grown. These two boys for sure are going to love growing up here. I consider it an honor to be invited into your home.
This sweet family came in from Texas and enjoyed the cooler air of our finally changing Tennessee fall weather! This was the surrogate mama of my sweet friends I captured almost a year ago. I got to spend some time with both families and also got to capture all of them together! It was a wonderful morning!! How sweet is MG?! She was such a sweet heart!!
I always enjoy working with this sweet family! I can’t believe sweet A turned 4! She is shy and spunky, ha! I love watching her little (big!) personality come out after a little warming up! Her sweet parents are always so nice! And A also helped me take photos of her parents!! Maybe a little photographer in the making! Happy Birthday A!
How precious is this sweet family! Sweet baby is 9 months old and I love her facial expressions. Her mama and I share a love for all things vintage. What a beautiful afternoon for fall family photos!
Happy Birthday sweet boy T! How quickly they grow! I met T when he was 8 months old…and his sweet little personality is showing in each shot I took. What’s a cake smash session without a little mess and what’s a session with a boy without a little dirt. Ok, a lot of mess and a lot of dirt!! Happy Birthday T! May this year be filled with adventure, baseball games, learning to walk and run and all kinds of laughter and love!
This was a timeless session! The sweet white and blue dress in the first section of images were a family heirloom passed down a generation from the mother’s side. And the quilt is E’s great great great grandmother’s. Both fabrics are tender and aged. But their beauty. Unmatched. Until you place sweet 6 month E in with them. Her expressions. From wonder, to puzzled, to curious, to stoic, to smiley…I have so many more from pouty to unhappy…but let’s stick with the sweetness of this session. We experience real life…but these remind a sweet mom of the fun that 6 months holds. She is beginning to sit and explore by crawling. The time seems to pass too quickly. I am sure E’s grandmother’s and great-great-grandmother felt the same way holding their baby girls too!
