the Photographer behind the lens

When I was little I would play house and school. Years later, I became a teacher, wife and a mother. The years between were filled with laugher, risks, a broken and restored heart, adventure and joy! I have been blessed with a supportive family, deep friendships and a faithful husband. I married a country-boy and I’m a mom of the sweetest, laid back kiddos.

I am a former middle school teacher, Young Life leader and now take on the full job as a stay-at-home momma of three sweet kiddos!  I love the south, front porch swings, sweet tea, the color teal, country music, my very worn Chaco sandals, family, antiquing, blue mason jars, fishing off the boat, hot coffee (made into iced because I’m a mom), cuddling and reading books to my kiddos, journaling, shopping for deals, a good snack of hummus & snap peas, side-splitting laughter, dancing at weddings, surfing at the beach, anything artistic, a good road trip, napping on Sunday’s (wait, what’s a nap!? I have kids!), healing prayer and photography!!! My hope is built on nothingness than Jesus’ blood and righteousness.

“There is always more behind the lens, but what matters most is what I see through it!”
